By downloading and using BrightSide you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree please do not use the app.

BrightSide is a positive news aggregation and community app operated by Noise Factory Productions, Miami, Florida. Our mission is to provide uplifting, inspiring and positive content to our community every single day.

• You must be 13 or older to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when registering
• One account per person
• You may delete your account at any time

BrightSide is a positive space. By using the app you agree to:

• Only share content that is positive, uplifting and kind
• Not post hate speech, violence, discrimination or offensive content
• Not post content that belongs to someone else without permission
• Not attempt to spam or manipulate the community
• Respect other community members at all times

Content that violates these guidelines will be removed and accounts may be suspended or permanently banned.

By submitting photos, videos or quotes to BrightSide you:

• Confirm the content is your own or you have rights to share it
• Grant BrightSide a license to display it within the app
• Understand it will be reviewed by our admin team before publishing
• Can edit or delete your own content at any time
• Are responsible for ensuring your content meets our community guidelines

• Donations made through the Give Back wall are voluntary
• BrightSide facilitates but does not guarantee charitable contributions
• Donation transactions are processed by third party payment providers
• BrightSide is not a registered charity or nonprofit organization
• All donations are final and non-refundable unless required by law
• BrightSide may retain a small platform fee on donations to support app operations

• News stories in BrightSide are aggregated from third party sources
• BrightSide does not own or create news content
• We filter content for positivity but cannot guarantee the accuracy of third party articles
• Always refer to original sources for full context and verification
• BrightSide is not responsible for the content of external websites

• The BrightSide name, logo, and app design are owned by Noise Factory Productions
• You may not copy, reproduce or distribute our branding without written permission
• User generated content remains the property of the original creator
• By posting content you grant BrightSide a non-exclusive license to display it in the app

Your use of BrightSide is also governed by our Privacy Policy available at getbrightside.app/privacy-policy. By using the app you agree to our Privacy Policy.

• BrightSide is provided as is without warranty of any kind
• We do our best to ensure a positive and reliable experience
• We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We are not responsible for third party content or services linked from the app
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app at any time

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noise Factory Productions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of BrightSide.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of BrightSide after changes means you accept the updated terms.
